Remote Learning

If your child tests positive for Covid 19 and is asymptomatic, they will be eligible for remote education/blended learning.

Your class teacher will be in contact with you to provide a daily timetable and outline the online provision for your child over the upcoming weeks.  Teachers will devise online lessons, in line with the national curriculum, which will consist of a blended mix of resources, for example: live lessons on Microsoft Teams, independent work on Dojo/Teams, MyMaths, TTRockstars, website resources, prerecorded lessons, non screen activities and other resources.   Support with technology is available from the school upon request.

Feel free to supplement learning with any of the other resources available on these pages.

First Days Isolating Work for Pupils

For children who are:

  • Isolating due to positive Covid 19 result but are asymptomatic

Please use the following links and resources, which are organsied by Year Groups, for your child to work on during their first few days of isolation only.   Your class teacher will use this period to plan for a combination of live lessons (Teams), resources and materials in line with our curriculum for your child to access from the following day.  The teacher will then contact you on Class Dojo or by phonecall/email to discuss their specific provision for remote learning for your child.

Additional Resources to support Remote Learning

The school has compiled a wide range of resources and websites by Year Group that your child can access in addition to the 'first days of isolation' pack on the stars located at the top of this page.   Feel free to dip into these and use these to support home learning with your child. Contact your teacher via Dojo, if you wish for more advice on which resources to use at home.

The school also uses whole school learning platforms in Maths.

MyMaths: Pupils can log in to access lessons, games and investigations.

TT Rockstars: Pupils can log in compete individually, whole class or globally to improve their times tables and division.

Below are some other websites, usually subscription, offering free resources for parents and pupils learning at home.
